The Path We Chose
We didn’t set out to build a Lord of the Rings esports team — we were simply a group of friends who grew up immersed in the world of Middle-earth. Some of us had been climbing RTS ladders for years. Others were lorekeepers, obsessed with every line of dialogue and every map of Gondor. One night, during a 2v2 in Battle for Middle-earth II, we realized we had something more: synergy, instinct, trust.
That was 2020.
Today, Power Clash is Australia’s first competitive team focused solely on LOTR-based games, and we’re just getting started.

What sets us apart isn’t just our mechanics or our macro. It’s the fact that we know this world. Every unit we control has weight. Every skirmish echoes a story. We’ve lost battles we should’ve won — and won matches that felt impossible. Through it all, the bond between our players has only grown stronger.
We don’t just play like a team — we move like a fellowship.
And when one of us falls, another always answers the call.
